From April 22 to 26, 2024, officers and directors from the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) visited Bangladesh. This visit holds a deeper significance as it is the first scheduled visit since Bangladesh was incorporated into the NSD. Throughout the week, the officers visited conferences, churches, schools, and medical institutions across Bangladesh to encourage people. Each departmental director conducted seminars and certification ceremonies, effectively managing their respective schedules.

During their visit, they were welcomed at the Bangladesh Union Mission on the first day. In the afternoon, they visited a school. The following days included visits to schools in the South, North, East, and West Conferences. The week ended with a worship service at a Bangladesh Adventist Seminary School & College on Sabbath, and a groundbreaking ceremony on Sunday.

Kim YoHan, the president of the NSD, remarked, “Bangladesh holds very positive potential in the fields of education and missionary work. It faces significant challenges, yet simultaneously, it possesses limitless potential.” The visit is expected to strengthen the ties and cooperation between the division and the Bangladesh Union Mission.
